We are looking for a Service Engineer.
Reporting to the General Manager the role will include, but is not exclusive to:
- Carry out servicing of Power Factor Correction LV panels and recording test and servicing results in a neat and methodical manner.
- Completing site service documentation.
- Issue service reports and recommendations to customers, prepare any further quotations that may be required following maintenance activities.
- Acting as support for other office-based and site service colleges
- Serving as point of contact for site service customers.
- Carry out servicing of other Power Quality equipment recording test and servicing results in a neat and methodical manner.
- Ensure work is up to specification, that quality standards are maintained and work is completed in specified time and in accordance with safe working practices.
- Ensure your engineering competencies are kept up to date.
- Carry out repairs to LV Power Factor Equipment.
Skills required:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and confident learning and using other PC based apps.
- A knowledge of LV panels and competency in using test and measuring equipment
- Full clean driving licence.
- Attention to detail.
- Occasional working outside normal working hours will be required as well as staying away overnight.
- One new full-time position available for site service engineers in a small friendly engineering company to help expand the existing site engineering team. Training, where required, will be provided. This is a varied and interesting position in a growth area of the electrical energy market.
