Semi-skilled Panel Wirer / Electrical Fitter

Responsible for the assembly of copper work, cabling and basic control wiring within the switchboard.

Reporting to the Team Leaders, the role will include, but is not exclusive to:

To adhere to the Works File information.
To refer to and follow the Company Engineering and Test Standards where appropriate.
To remain on the job in a productive role.
To assist Team Leaders and Production team.
To assist the team to correctly interpret drawings as required.
To give guidance and support Apprentices
To discuss opportunities in increase productivity with the Team Leaders.
To inform Team Leaders of any urgently required parts
To inform Team Leaders of any concerns regarding parts/ build/ equipment.
To effectively maintain the tidiness, safety and cleanliness of the work areas.
Work closely with the overall manufacturing team.
Attend Works Team Meetings as required/requested.
Responsibility for complying with and implementing the Business management system with their level of activity.

Working hours:

Total Hours: 37.50

Monday to Thursday (start / finish time):

07:30 – 09:00 and 16:15 – 17:45

Friday (start / finish time):

07:30 – 08:30 and 12:00 – 13:00

Essential Qualifications/Experience:

Minimum Qualifications attainment for the role.

Level 2 Electrical Diploma in an electrical discipline.

Desirable but not essential:

Expectation with training to obtain full Electrical Fitter status

following a total of 5 years working in an electrical role.
