EXPANSION OF CNC COPPER FABRICATION CELL - Feb 2012

Since 2005, AF Switchgear has constantly developed the use of pre-designed copper bars, manufactured on CNC equipment. The introduction of new machines, will ensure that the cell becomes the primary feeder for all copper work, to further increase productivity in the assembly areas.

The two new Stierli CNC benders and a Boschert Hole Cut machine have been installed. The integration of these, with our existing equipment, now gives us two process lines. New off-line programming software will be used to control production on these lines.
